Boy Mandeville – Mo Skrib, Launch Party

There's an indie party in tight pants-

Dry The River

This band definitely have astrong future ahead them. Beautiful music and I was very inappropriately behaved when I met them. Therefore I will make them famous in order to cleanse my shame face.

The opening song for this despondent treat is like the unfolding of a questionably green powdered orange, the insides of Earth evoking a terrified awe when revealed.

...And now it begins

After dilly and dallying I have decided to start this properly. What with my festival history essay I wrote and general festy plans, there is rising festival fever surrounding me. In the streets, on television and through the airwaves I hear the call.

It's that time of year, the time of enchanted woods, the time of ridiculously named bands, the time to get 'real in a field' and 'dance in your wellies'. So what better than a site dedicated to the literary praise of such events, embracing the festival culture and writing what you feel, as the sun starts shining and the campsites start filling.

Reviews, news, Barley McGrews, tips, anecdotes, poems and stories. They are all welcome. This site is part of my long-term project, to one day have a tent at a festival filled with festival literature, great and small. Please aid me in my goal, who knows I may even get a free-zine out of this :D
